and since we're on the topic...
the other night my french friend and i were watching this french talk show (not so bizarre, i think all french shows are talk shows to be honest). this particular show has a booth where a random question comes on the screen, and the guests inside must answer the question.
example:
"what's your favorite topic to talk about with each other?"
ines de la fressange and sharon stone- "sex"
"will you kiss the person to your right?" (i think)
the show hosts (2 guys, 1 girl) proceed a train of kisses and then fake it going further...
not exactly something you'd see on the view, right?
my friend commented that that was the difference between americans and french.
americans talk about it. the french don't waste their time talking- they just get to it.
and in case you were wondering,
french kiss me = roulez moi une pelle
(which translates to "roll me a shovel;" slang always sounds so weird when it's not your own)
